The international SIAL Paris 2026 exhibition, one of the world’s largest food industry events, has come to a close. Held from 17 to 21 October, the exhibition provided a platform for Ukrainian producers and processors of frozen food products to showcase their goods at a collective stand organized by the Ukrainian Berries Association.
Key figures from the Ukrainian delegation’s participation:
For Ukrainian exporters, SIAL Paris was an opportunity to present their products to an international audience, hold negotiations with existing customers, establish new business relationships and explore opportunities to enter new markets.
Participants at the Ukrainian national stand organized by the Ukrainian Berries Association (Frozen Food):
Feedback from participating companies confirms that the exhibition was more than a platform for product presentations. It also provided an opportunity for substantive business negotiations, the exploration of new opportunities and the strengthening of international business relationships.
A representative of Alta Kraina highlighted the strong interest in frozen products and the positive outcomes of meetings with both existing and potential customers.
“First of all, I would like to thank the Ukrainian Berries Association team for organizing our stand so well. Everything was clear, coordinated and carefully planned to make the exhibition as comfortable as possible for the participating companies. Many thanks to everyone involved in the organization!
SIAL Paris is an exhibition where companies carefully weigh the pros and cons of participating each time. This year, the situation was further complicated by protests in central Paris. Nevertheless, the exhibition proved to be very busy and active, with a large number of visitors and inquiries about frozen products.
Frozen berries, in particular, remain a segment that I believe is attracting growing interest. Ukraine is already a well-established player in this market, and over recent years we have become a country that influences market trends and development in certain product categories. Naturally, discussions also covered prices, the harvest and the situation in Ukraine. Buyers are closely monitoring how these factors may affect future supplies and prices. Overall, however, the results of the exhibition were very positive for us. We held many meaningful meetings with our existing customers and met new potential partners.
I would also like to recognize the organizing team. I have participated in exhibitions with you on several occasions, and I can see how you continue to evolve, improve your work and strive to make each year better than the last. It is clear how much effort you put into making participation comfortable and productive for every company.

Vasyl Liuklian, LAKI-2017 (TM Vega Land): “Over these few days, we held several very productive meetings. We are hopeful that these negotiations will lead to new business partnerships. Overall, we are very positive about our participation in the exhibition. Thank you!”

Representatives of TM Elikatni also gave positive feedback on their participation in the exhibition, highlighting the outcomes of their meetings and visitors’ interest in the products on display. “We would like to thank everyone for organizing the collective stand. Our overall impression is very positive!”

The Rokytne Berry team highlighted opportunities to find new partners and expand its supply geography. “We saw just how much European customers are interested in Ukrainian berries and how highly they value them.”

Representative of the TM Rumianets:
“The exhibition was excellent! We connected with a large number of potential customers, including from countries we had never previously considered as promising markets. The electronic platform was particularly useful, allowing us to identify contacts in advance and start building relationships before the exhibition even began. Participating in SIAL helped us discover new markets that we had planned to enter much later. I don’t think we could have achieved this so quickly without the exhibition.”

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Export Director at Three Bears, highlighted the stand’s strategic location, design, branding and well-planned facilities for product tastings.
“When it comes to the organization, I would like to highlight the ongoing communication with representatives of the Ukrainian Berries Association. Thank you! We will be joining you at the next exhibitions as well!”

💬 Liubov Bilobrukh, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Berries Association, summed up:
“We are very pleased that the participating companies are satisfied with the results! We are now waiting for the final feedback on the number and quality of contacts established during SIAL Paris 2026. We also emphasized to the participants the importance of actively following up after the exhibition, as continued communication with potential partners will largely determine whether these contacts develop into actual contracts and business partnerships.”

Nearly 1,000 meetings represent significant potential for future cooperation. The next step for the participating companies is to follow up on the contacts made, continue negotiations and turn the agreements reached into tangible commercial results.
For the Ukrainian Berries Association, supporting Ukrainian producers at international trade fairs is part of a long-term effort to expand export opportunities, strengthen the position of Ukrainian products in global markets and develop business relationships with international partners.
We thank all participating companies for their trust, teamwork and for representing Ukrainian products on the international stage!
