Ukrainian farmers and exporters took part in the online forum "Transition to organic production: benefits for Ukrainian food and agricultural enterprises"

During the event, Ukrainian entrepreneurs learned about:
✔️ the state of the Ukrainian market of organic products and where you can export them
✔️ features of certification of organic products
✔️ tools for the transition to organic production
✔️ global organic trends and prospects

Why is the production of organic products an opportunity for development?
1⃣ Austria and Germany report record growth in demand for organic products in 2020.
2⃣ Focus on a healthy lifestyle is one of the main trends of the current decade.
3⃣ Youth is the primary target audience for organic products, so demand will grow.
4⃣ The trade war between the United States and China has led to reformatting food trade flows: China is looking for new suppliers.
5⃣ According to the EU plan, the target for the agricultural sector by 2030 is the reduction of pesticide usage by 30%, fertilizers – by 20%, the share of land under organic production – 25%.
