The Ukrainian Berries Association has presented its activity plan for 2026, aimed at strengthening the international presence of Ukraine’s fruit and berry sector, developing exports, increasing the competitiveness of producers, and deepening Ukraine’s integration into global agri-food markets.
International Presence and Export Promotion
One of the key priorities of the Association in 2026 remains active promotion of Ukrainian fruit and berry products on international markets. To this end, the Association plans to organize collective participation of Ukrainian companies in leading global industry exhibitions.
In particular, the Association will act as a co-organizer of the National Stand of Ukraine at Fruit Logistica 2026 (4–6 February, Berlin), where producers and processors of fruit and berry products, as well as industry associations focused on sector development and promotion, will be represented.
Another important event will be the National Pavilion of Ukraine at Biofach 2026 (10–13 February, Nuremberg), the world’s largest trade fair for organic products. Within the pavilion, 26 Ukrainian organic-sector companies will present their products, including producers and processors of organic berries, nuts, fruits, honey, wine, chocolate, and cereals.
In the second half of the year, the Association plans to organize a collective stand at Fruit Attraction 2026 (6–8 October, Madrid, registration via the link), as well as collective stands for frozen and ready-to-eat products at SIAL 2026 (17–21 October, Paris), one of the world’s largest food exhibitions.
Business, Technological, and Educational Missions
In 2026, the Ukrainian Berries Association will also focus on developing direct contacts between Ukrainian producers and European partners.
Commercial (market-oriented) missions to France and Belgium are planned (registration link here), with the main goal of establishing B2B cooperation, holding negotiations with potential buyers, and creating the basis for long-term contracts (similar to the UBA business tour to the Netherlands organized in 2025 with partner support; more details are available on our website).
A special emphasis will be placed on increasing the technological level of Ukrainian enterprises. For this purpose, the Association plans technological and educational missions to Poland and Bulgaria, during which participants will be able to familiarize themselves with advanced practices in cultivation, harvesting, storage, and processing of fruit and berry products (an example of a similar technological tour to Serbia in 2025 is available via the link).
Analytical and Communication Tools for the Sector
An important area of activity in 2026 will be the updating of industry information tools.
The Association will work on updating the Catalogue of Suppliers of Related Products and Services for the Fruit and Berry Market and integrating it into the official website. The catalogue is intended to become a practical tool for producers and processors, simplifying access to reliable technological and service solutions and accelerating investment decision-making.
Traditionally, in 2026 the Association will also update the annual catalogue of export-oriented enterprises of Ukraine’s fruit and berry sector – The Ukrainian Berry Industry Catalogue. The publication will contribute to increasing the visibility of Ukrainian companies on international markets and building trust among foreign partners and buyers.
Education and Export Readiness
A separate block of the Association’s activities in 2026 will include a series of training sessions on food safety and certification. These trainings will be aimed at increasing the export readiness of berry sector enterprises and ensuring their compliance with the requirements of international markets and quality standards.
More detailed announcements of events, as well as dates, registration details, and participation conditions, will be published regularly on our website and LinkedIn.
