From October 4 to 8, 2025, Ukrainian exporters of fruit and berry products and finished products presented their collective stands at one of the largest food exhibitions in the world - Anuga 2025 in Cologne (Germany).
The event brought together more than 8,000 companies from 110 countries, and became a record in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors.
Thanks to the organization by the Ukrainian Berries Association (UBA) and the support of its partners, Ukrainian producers of high-quality berries, frozen fruits, and ready-to-eat products once again had the opportunity to present themselves to international importers, exchange experiences, establish new partnerships, strengthen existing ones, and expand their export networks.

Participants’ Impressions
🗣 Volodymyr Chornobai, Director of Golberry:
“This was our first time participating in an international exhibition, and we are very satisfied with the results! Within just a few days, we held numerous meetings with potential buyers from different countries and have already started discussions for possible deliveries.
Without the support of the Ukrainian Berries Association (UBA), our participation would not have been possible. Their team put in a great deal of effort — we look forward to further fruitful cooperation.”
🗣 Volodymyr Soproniuk, Owner of Sav Agro Partner:
“We already see strong results: we’re planning to sign several new contracts and invite potential clients to visit our production facilities.
In fact, thanks to our consistent participation in international events, demand for our products now exceeds supply 😊. We’re considering how to scale up.
We also discovered new ideas such as freeze-drying and sublimation, and we plan to start producing finished products — jams, compotes.
Support from associations like UBA allows young exporters to grow and become less dependent on the domestic market.”
🗣 Yuriy Shologon, West Berry:
“We are not new to international exhibitions — we’ve already taken part in Anuga, SIAL in Paris, Biofach in Nuremberg, and others.
Participation is always effective. These events help us constantly expand our sales markets. Currently, we export to many EU countries, including the Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belgium, and Germany.
Such exhibitions also allow us to assess the market, identify key trends, and better understand pricing and supply volumes.
We appreciate UBA’s support — not only for organizing participation, but also for ongoing initiatives. Last year, with UBA’s help, we won a grant for new equipment, which is now supporting our expansion, including new storage facilities.”

Participants noted strong demand and high relevance of Ukrainian products, as well as significant interest in sustainable and natural solutions among European buyers.
“We are proud of our participants and we’re moving forward! Preparations are already underway for the next major industry events — Fruit Logistica (Feb 4–6 in Berlin) and Biofach (Feb 10–13 in Nuremberg). We encourage all exporters and those considering export to join us. We handle all logistics and full support before and during the exhibition, so participants can focus on their key business goals,”
