From January 26–30, 2026, one of the largest international exhibitions of food and beverages — Gulfood 2026 — took place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Every year the exhibition brings together leading industry companies and serves as a key platform for establishing business cooperation and expanding export opportunities.
Within the framework of the National Stand of Ukraine, 10 Ukrainian producers/exporters were presented, including 8 producers/exporters of organic food products and 7 producers/exporters of berries and/or nuts.
The exhibitors presented a wide range of products, including: frozen strawberries and raspberries, freeze-dried berries and fruits, fresh blueberries, concentrated juices, instant cereals and soups, flakes, groats, freeze-dried fruit and vegetable snacks, nuts, children’s dry breakfasts, as well as organic chips, grissini, and crispbread.
The President of the Ukrainian Berries Association, Iryna Kukhtina, who was present at the National Stand of Ukraine, supported Ukrainian berry producers and helped establish new contacts and export partnerships.
“Participation in Gulfood is an important step for Ukrainian berry producers in terms of expanding export opportunities. Since European markets are highly competitive, we need to look toward countries that are geographically more distant from us — countries in Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and even as far as Australia,” noted Iryna Kukhtina.
