We continue to foster trade connections for Ukrainian berry exporters!
The Ukrainian Berries Association participated in the SIPPO Import Promotion Forum 2026, held on June 3, 2026, in Zurich, Switzerland. The SIPPO Import Promotion Forum is an annual event that promotes knowledge exchange between Business Support Organizations (BSOs) from SIPPO partner countries and Swiss import networks, as well as import promotion organizations, on trade-related topics.

This year's forum focused on the theme “Building Sustainable Export Support Systems.”
The event featured a series of roundtable discussions and presentations on sustainability and digitalization, with contributions from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), the International Trade Centre (ITC), and business support organizations from Colombia. For the Ukrainian Berries Association, participation in the forum became another important step in its institutional development. Events of this kind provide an opportunity to learn from international best practices in supporting businesses, improve services offered to association members, and expand partnerships with international organizations, donors, and trade institutions.

"By participating in the forum, we once again confirmed that Ukrainian exporters have significant opportunities to strengthen trade relations and enter new markets. Exchanging experience with colleagues from different countries contributes to the development of their expertise, while for us, as a sector-specific organization, it is a valuable opportunity to discover new export support instruments. This, in turn, helps us enhance the Association's effectiveness and create even more opportunities to support berry exporters.
We are sincerely grateful to our Swiss partners at SIPPO for their ongoing support of Ukraine's berry sector, including the organization of business tours, assistance with participation in collective stands at major international trade fairs, and numerous training and practical activities. In just a few days, with SIPPO's support, we will be implementing a marketing business mission to France for our berry processors, where they will gain deeper insights into the French market and prepare for participation in SIAL 2026," said Iryna Kukhtina, President of the Ukrainian Berries Association.
