Now many Ukrainians are forced to leave everything and escape from the war. The Ukrainian Berries Association has decided to do our best to make these people feel our support until they can return to normal life. That is why we have launched a fundraising initiative to support IDP camps in Ukraine «Ukrainian Hope Place».
The situation on the Ukrainian cherry market is becoming more and more difficult from year to year. Because of the decline in production, the export of this berry has dropped significantly, while the competition with products from Uzbekistan on the domestic market continues to intensify, says Mariia Lakeieva, analyst of the Ukrainian Berries Association.

Currently, Ukraine is already actively asserting itself as a promising supplier of quality fruit and berry products to the EU. However, industry experts are confident that our country can occupy a much higher position in the ranking of exporters. Moreover, among the countries of the European Union, the Netherlands and Germany are currently the countries with the greatest untapped potential.
In December, Ukrainian exporters of fresh and frozen fruit and berry products will have the opportunity to join a trade mission to the Netherlands and West Germany.
At the joint stand at the exhibition ANUGA -2021 seven leading Ukrainian companies will be presented specializing in the cultivation and processing of berries, as well as the production of berry products, fruit and berry sweets and more.
Nearly 100 Ukrainian farmers and exporters took part in the online forum "Transition to organic production: benefits for Ukrainian food and agricultural enterprises" within the sectoral initiative Ukrainian Organic Export Days 2021.
